The Bridgwater Way (TBW) is focussed on helping to keep Bridgwater moving as the town goes through a period of significant growth and investment.

By providing information, advice and tools people can choose the best times to travel and routes to use and even try travelling in a way that’s new to them. Why not use our cycling and walking route map to see how easy planning a quiet or traffic free journey can be!

At TBW we want to help people avoid times when the roads are busiest. View the map on the homepage which shows traffic and live incidents on the roads to help you plan your journey.

TBW includes investment in new roads and improvements to existing roads and junctions, as well as miles of new and improved routes for pedestrians and cyclists.

It also offers active travel initiatives to make getting to work or school easier and safer. Browse our ‘My Way’ pages to find out more about how you can get involved.

We’re currently asking the community to tell us more about your regular journeys and what factors would encourage you to cycle or walk more. To have your voice heard, please complete our questionnaire here. You’ll also have the opportunity to be entered into our prize draw to win a £100 St John Street Cycles voucher.
