Do you have children at Willowdown Primary School? If you live in the housing estates along Kings Drive, there’s an easy, safe way for children to get to school actively.
Coming from Westminster Way/Imperial Way direction, west of Kings Drive?
Head south via Devonshire Way onto Hamilton Drive and follow this to Jade Close.
At the end of Jade Close, there’s a dedicated cycleway/footpath straight to the school.
View routeComing from the Kings Walk/Royal Drive/Hampstead Drive area, east of Kings Drive?
Make your way to Kings Drive and following the dedicated off-road cycleway/footpath which runs alongside the pavement south.
Just after Hamilton Drive (on the opposite side of the road), you’ll come to a toucan crossing, which you can access to join the cycleway/footpath at the end of Jade Close, taking you straight to the school.
